Lemon Day Studio Pin Publisher

This policy explains how Lemon Day Studio handles information for its private, owner-operated tool for publishing the shop’s own product images to Pinterest.

The integration is being prepared for API approval. This policy describes its intended operation when enabled; it does not mean Pinterest has approved the app or that an API connection is already active.

1. Who operates the app

Lemon Day Studio operates Lemon Day Studio Pin Publisher for its own business account. The app is not a service for connecting other people’s accounts. It is separate from the Etsy shop’s checkout and does not process purchases.

2. Information the app handles

Owner-provided content: product images, Pin titles and descriptions, destination product links, and publishing choices supplied or approved by the shop owner.
Authorized Pinterest information: the connected account identifier and its own board and Pin information needed to select a board, create a Pin, and check the result.
Connection credentials: OAuth access and refresh tokens, when issued, used to act on the owner’s authorized account. The app does not ask for or store a Pinterest password.

The integration does not request Etsy order records, customer addresses, payment information, private messages, advertising audiences, or other Pinterest users’ account data.

3. Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate the owner’s connection, show the owner’s available boards, publish selected product content, and verify the publishing result. The owner selects or approves each Pin and its destination before publication. No ads or automated engagement actions are part of this tool.

4. AI-assisted content preparation

The owner may use ChatGPT/Codex to help prepare text and select the shop’s existing product images. Shop content entered into those services is handled under their applicable privacy terms. Pinterest API credentials and retrieved API data are not inputs for AI content generation or model training in this integration.

5. Storage and security

Owner-provided drafts and source images may remain in the owner’s project storage until the owner removes them. Pinterest board and Pin data retrieved through the API is used for the current operation and is not retained as a separate database or cache; it is requested again when needed.

Connection tokens are to be kept in protected, owner-controlled local credential storage, separate from public website files, source repositories, and ordinary logs. They are used only for the authorized integration and removed when it is disconnected. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Disclosure and external services

Creating a Pin sends the selected image, text, product link, and board choice to Pinterest. Published content is visible according to Pinterest’s access level and board visibility. Following an Etsy product link opens Etsy, whose own policies apply.

Lemon Day Studio does not sell Pinterest API data or use it for advertising profiles, data brokerage, or unrelated third-party marketing. Publicly posted Pins are distinct from private connection credentials.

7. This policy website

This page contains no contact form, advertising pixel, embedded social widget, or site-added analytics script. Its hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, and request time, to deliver and protect the website. External sites linked here have their own privacy practices.

8. Disconnecting and deletion

The owner can revoke the app’s access through Pinterest’s account permissions and stop using the integration. Local connection credentials are then removed and further API access stops. Disconnecting does not automatically remove already published Pins; the owner can manage those separately on Pinterest.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the date above. Material changes to the integration’s scope will be reflected here before those changes are introduced.
